Ladies Games

Ladies District
Well done to the ladies tonight who defeated Kings Langley and now progress to the district final on Sunday 7th Sept.
Ladies District
Well done to both teams tonight who defeated Harpenden in the District Double Rink which involves one home and one away team.  Our next opponents are King’s Langley on Wed 13th in the semi final.
County Pairs
Two of our ladies teams have progressed into the second round of the District pairs.
Well done to Sharon and Sue, Penney and Jenny.
County Singles
Di Jewell overcame an 11 to 3 deficit to win against an opponent from Hertford in the County Singles.
The next round, the quarterfinals is on Tues 22nd at Herts where she will take on a Roston player for a place in the Semi Finals.

Ladies County Singles
Congratulations to Jenny To, Jean Scott and Di Jewell who have progressed to the next round  of the County Singles.  This next round is Tues July 8th.
County Triples
Congratulations to our Ladies Triples team, Di Jewell, Jean Scott, and standing in for an injured Pam Rodgers our super-sub Ann Wood, who defeated a strong team from Welwyn and District to qualify for the County Finals at Bishops Stortford on Sunday 3rd August.  Their place at Leamington is assured as both finalists go to Leamington playing Friday 22nd August/Saturday 23rd August, actual date and time to be confirmed in the near future.
We would love to see you at either or both of these occasions.

Ladies Top Club
Well done to everyone that played in the National Top Club against Hemel on Sunday. We won on 3 rinks out of a possible 4  with the Triples narrowly missing out on their victory.
Next up is Croxley Guild in a couple of weeks.


SADLBA Ladies

Over the weekend 17/18 May 2025 in our first two St Albans league matches we gained 50 out of a possible 60 points with matches against Batchwood  and Welwyn  Garden City.
Penney is through to the last 16 of the county unbadged singles defeating a player from Townsend.
Pam, Di and Jean are through to the next round of the County triples.
Pam, Di, Jean and Gill defeated a team from Harpenden and  are through to the quarter finals of the county 4s as their next opponents were unable to field a team in the next round. This is being held on Thurs at Potters Bar.
