David Arnold our President, presented Lifetime Awards and Certificates to Barry Bowman and Terry Barker being members of the club over 25 years.
Annual Presentation & Dinner & Dance
On 29th November, we held our annual Dinner and Dance, we presented many trophies to our club finalists, below are presentations to our 2025 Ladies & Mens Champions and two awards for consistent regular players during the season.
Cyprus Tour November 2025
On 5th November 42 players and guests set off to Luton Airport for our annual bowls trip abroad, this year to Paphos. We played our first match at the hotel complex the following morning and won 5-3. We then played 2 other games away at local clubs and unfortunately lost, but won our last game of the tour. The following day we said farewell to half the group and the other half stayed on for another 4 days of sunshine. We encountered 3 slight earthquakes but this didnt stop us having a laugh every day.

Captains Day September 2025
Our last match of the season was held on 21st September where the Captains played the Presidents. The Captains appropriately won 87 : 85. This was followed by a barbeque where 65 people both players and social members attended.
Presidents Day August 2025
Mick Brennan hosted the annual Presidents Day event on 16 August. We had around 50 members attend for a fun afternoon with some very unusual games held on the green. These included bowling potato into hoola hoops, bowling to buckets of fruit and batted balls to see how many went into the bucket, followed by a delightful cream tea. £419 was raised on the day for Asthma + Lung UK Charity

Lifetime Awards & Certificates 2025
Mick Brennan our President, presented Lifetime Awards and Certificates to Pat Thompson, Stuart Frost and Terry White for being members of the club over 25 years. Alan Dick also achieved this milestone which was presented on Opening Day.

2025 Bowls Trip to Suffolk
48 Members of the Potters Bar Bowls Club including guests made their annual mid year trip this year to Suffolk. A great 5 days away with our group winning 3 games out of 4. Thank you Jan and Janet Southwell for organising this annual trip.
